Graduating Phi Beta Kappa in Economics from the University of California, she has worked as a statistician, economist, and teacher. For the past 30 years she has painted full time. She is a signature member of California Watercolor Association, the Society of Western Artists, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Northeast Watercolor Society, Mississippi Watercolor Society and a juried associate member of Watercolor West. "Painting enables me to express my joy in the beautyand diversity of life. Nature creates endless patterns and designs in bothmuted and vivid colors.I try to weave these elements into a painting that conveys my excitement andjoy in the world around me."
